Best Vape of 2017 | ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards
The last award of the 2017 ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards was the big one: best overall vape. It went to Killer Kustard Strawberry by Vapetasia, a strawberry take on the brand’s vanilla custard.
Vapetasia did not leave much glory for anyone else that year. Best overall was the brand’s third award of 2017, after best tobacco and best custard, and Killer Kustard Strawberry won two of the three on its own.
Short version: Killer Kustard Strawberry by Vapetasia was voted Best Vape of 2017 and also won Best Custard. Vapetasia took three awards that year, including Best Tobacco. Vapetasia is not sold on our site today, but custard and strawberry fans have plenty to explore here.
The winner: Killer Kustard Strawberry by Vapetasia
Killer Kustard is Vapetasia’s vanilla custard, and the strawberry version layers strawberry over that creamy base. That puts it in two flavor families at once: custard and fruit.
Our advice when the award was announced was simple. If you had not tried it yet, you should get on it, and quickly, before everyone else beat you to it. Members had already made their feelings clear, since their votes put it at the top of the whole competition.
Vapetasia’s 2017 sweep
- Best Vape of 2017 (overall): Killer Kustard Strawberry
- Best Custard E-Liquid of 2017: Killer Kustard Strawberry
- Best Tobacco E-Liquid of 2017: Vapetasia
The brand’s run with our members did not stop there. In our May 2018 monthly ratings, Vapetasia topped both the dessert and milk categories.
If you like custard and strawberry
Vapetasia is not a brand we carry now, so treat this as a flavor guide. Custard vapes are rich, smooth and sweet, usually built on vanilla and cream. Adding fruit gives them a brighter edge.
- Browse custard for the base style.
- Look through strawberry for the same fruit-and-cream idea.
- Try dessert and cheesecake flavors if you want something richer.
Creamy custards are often high-VG blends, which are thicker and suit sub-ohm tanks. They are also sweet, so they can wear out coils faster. Read What Are PG and VG? to see how the base of a juice changes the way it vapes, and when to change your vape coils for the signs a coil is done.
