Fuchai 213 by Sigelei Device Review

The Fuchai 213 by Sigelei was already a tried and true favorite when we featured it in the fourth episode of our device review series, and we called it one of the best Sigelei devices ever.
It pairs up to 213 watts with full temperature control in an aluminum alloy body, powered by two 18650 batteries.
Short version: A dual-battery aluminum mod with 10 to 213 watts, temperature control for stainless steel, titanium and nickel, and a spring-loaded 510 pin. This is an archived review, and the Fuchai 213 is not sold in our shop.

What the specs mean for you
- Two 18650s working together. The 6.4 to 8.4 volt input range matches two cells in series, the usual setup for a mod in this power class.
- A wide resistance range. Support from 0.1 to 3.0 ohms covers low-resistance sub-ohm coils as well as higher-resistance ones.
- Temperature control for three wire types. TC mode reads the change in coil resistance as it heats and holds the temperature you set, anywhere from 200°F to 570°F. It works with stainless steel, titanium and nickel coils. Standard kanthal belongs in wattage mode.
- A spring-loaded 510 pin. It helps tanks and atomizers sit flush and make good contact.
- A battery door. Swapping in a fresh pair of cells is quick.
Why it earned its reputation
The Fuchai 213 combined high power, full temperature control and an aluminum alloy body, and by the time we reviewed it, it was already a tried and true favorite. That is why we called it one of the best Sigelei devices ever.
Sigelei later followed it with the Fuchai 213 Plus, which we covered in our Fuchai 213 Plus review. For help picking coils and tanks at this power level, see what is sub-ohm vaping.
Dual-battery care
- Use two matched 18650s of the same brand, model and age, and keep them paired.
- Charge them together, preferably in an external charger.
- Check the wraps often, and retire any cell with a nick or tear.
- Pick cells with a current rating that suits how hard you push the mod.
