Jaybo Indestructible RDA & Magma Reborn RDA Review

Why review one rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA) when you can review two? This archived review looks at the Wismec Indestructible RDA, designed by Jaybo Designs, and the Magma Reborn RDA, the updated version of a dripper many flavor chasers loved.
Neither atomizer is sold on our site, but the notes are still a handy reference if you are shopping for a dripper with a similar layout.
Short version: The Indestructible is an easy-to-build, center-post deck with flexible airflow at a fair price. The Magma Reborn keeps the original Magma’s flavor and adds the airflow and post size for much bigger clouds.
Jaybo Indestructible RDA
The Indestructible is Jaybo Designs’ update to a classic dripper. It pairs washer-adjusted top airflow with side airflow, and its cyclops-style center post has a very wide hole. That leaves room for intricate builds, yet simple go-to coils are a breeze to install.
Add deck-milled negative posts, large juice wells and a competitive price, and it is easy to see why our reviewer Chris called it a win. It is made from 303 stainless steel with PEEK insulators and a gold-plated 510 connection, the airflow dials in to your preference, and the deck is genuinely easy to build on.
Key features
- 22 mm diameter with an integrated 10 mm sloped drip tip
- Airflow washer with quad 3 mm holes on both sides plus single-coil airflow; the standard 2.5 mm holes can close off completely
- Large cyclops-style center post for very large coil configurations
- Deck-milled negative posts with Phillips screws and shelf-style terminals
- Oversized juice wells and hex screws
- 303 stainless steel, PEEK insulators, gold-plated 510 pin and a CNC-engraved base
Magma Reborn RDA
The original Magma was a favorite for vapers chasing the most flavor they could get, and it was our reviewer Ian’s all-time favorite dripper. The Reborn improves on a great product. A large airflow slot and giant square posts with two big post holes let you push serious clouds without giving up flavor, something you could not really do on the original.
It comes with a wide-bore Delrin drip cap for cloud chasing and a stainless steel top cap that takes your favorite 510 drip tips. At the end of the day, the Reborn is the original Magma made bigger, badder and better.
Key features
- 24 mm diameter
- Solid square positive and negative posts with 3 mm post holes
- Deep juice well that holds about 4 to 5 ml
- Dual 3.5 mm direct-to-coil air holes
- Airflow control ring with 1 mm, 2 mm and 2.5 mm slots for single, dual or quad coil builds
- Domed top cap for flavor that lifts off easily for dripping
- Includes the wide-bore drip cap, a spare O-ring, a bottom PEEK insulator, two screws and a 510 pin
Which one fits you?
If you want a dripper that is simple to build on and gives you plenty of airflow options, the Indestructible is the easier place to start. If flavor is your priority but you still want the option of big clouds, look at the Magma Reborn. Its deep well also means less time spent re-dripping.
Both are rebuildables, so you will be wrapping and wicking your own coils. If that is new to you, start with how to build a basic coil and how to install coils in a two-post RDA, and read what ohms mean for sub-ohm vaping.
Always check each build’s resistance with an ohm reader and make sure your batteries can handle it. Our guide to mechanical mod battery safety covers the basics. For more hands-on help, watch ZampleBox Vape School videos on YouTube.
A flavor-focused dripper deserves good juice. The Zamplebox Club sends bottles matched to your taste every month, including a Big Juice Box for vapers who burn through a lot of juice.
