Coolest Wraps for Your RX200

When Did Vaping Start? | ZampleBox Vape School

If you like to customize everything you own, your mod is fair game. When one of us picked up a Wismec Reuleaux RX200 from a coworker, the all-black look was nice, but we were in the mood for a change, so we went hunting for wraps.

These are the favorites we found when we first put this list together. We were not sponsored by any of these companies; we just liked what we saw. Designs, prices and sellers have changed since then, so treat this list as inspiration and search for each design by name.

Short version: Our number one pick was a simple silicone sleeve for better grip. For pure looks, the stabilized wood skin was the showstopper, and cracked marble was the classiest budget option.

Our seven favorites, counted down

7. Abstract Trooper (StreetWrapz on eBay)

A twist on one of the coolest things ever. We loved the colors, the abstract style and, of course, the troopers.

6. Cracked Marble (MightySkins)

Here is one for the fancy folks. We love marble anything, and the gold-and-black combo is just so classy. It was well priced, too. MightySkins makes tons of designs, so if marble is not your thing, their range is worth a browse.

5. #TACONATION (Newegg)

One word: tacos. How can you not love tacos? This skin lets you show that love on your mod.

4. Fang Lips (J-Wraps)

This one is so unique. Not many people would have artwork like this, so you would definitely stand out.

3. Tsunami (247 Skins)

There is something special about Japanese-inspired artwork, and this skin is no exception. The colors look great against black.

2. Stabilized WUD Skin (Premium E-Cigarettes)

This was the priciest pick on the list by a wide margin, but it is so cool. It is an actual stabilized wood wrap that takes your mod to a whole new level of good looks.

1. Silicone Wrap in Black or White (Amazon)

If your mod tends to slip out of your hand, this might help. It is a simple silicone wrap that came in multiple colors, and it was also the least expensive pick on the list.

Before you wrap your mod

  • Match the exact model. Skins are cut for specific devices, and the cutouts for the screen, buttons and battery door differ between models and versions.
  • Take the batteries out first. Always work on a mod with the batteries removed.
  • Prep the surface. Wipe the mod down so it is dry and free of dust and oils before you apply anything.
  • Line it up, then press. Align the cutouts before you press the skin down, then smooth it from the center out to avoid bubbles.
  • Keep contacts clear. Make sure nothing covers the 510 connection, the battery contacts or any vent holes.

Skins are not battery wraps

A device skin is purely cosmetic. The plastic wrap on each 18650 battery is a safety layer. The RX200 runs on three 18650 batteries, so check every wrap each time you swap them. If a battery wrap is torn, nicked or peeling, rewrap the battery or replace it before you use it again.

Once your mod looks the part, fill it with something worth vaping. The Zamplebox Club sends bottles matched to your flavor profile every month, and you can swap any bottle before it ships.
