BLVK Unicorn E-Juice Review by Joe of All Vapes

BLVK Unicorn Ejuice Review by Joe of All Vapes

Mar 11, 2024Updated Sep 17, 20263 min readReviews

BLVK Unicorn: majestic as… well, you get the picture. By the time our friend Joe from Joe of All Vapes sat down with it, BLVK Unicorn had been around for a little while and had built a solid lineup of four unique flavors: UniApple, UniChew, UniLoop and UniDew. Joe reviewed the entire line on video.

This is an archived review from around the start of 2017. BLVK Unicorn is not sold on our site today, so read it as a look back at a popular line and a guide to getting more out of video reviews.

Short version: Joe of All Vapes reviewed all four original BLVK Unicorn flavors. His take on the brand: it had already made a solid name for itself, with a big following across the vape community.

Joe’s take on BLVK Unicorn

Joe usually opens his reviews with background on the brand, but he figured BLVK was well known enough to skip most of it. In his view, the brand had made a solid name for itself and built a pretty substantial following, and it was “widely known and loved throughout the community.”

At the time, BLVK Unicorn had four flavors on the market and was in the middle of releasing three brand-new ones in January 2017.

The original four flavors

  • UniApple
  • UniChew
  • UniLoop
  • UniDew

Joe tasted his way through all four in his video, which is the place to go for his inhale and exhale notes. The names give you a hint of the style, with apple in UniApple and, as the name suggests, a chewy candy in UniChew.

How to get the most from a line review

A full-line review is one of the fastest ways to learn a brand’s style before you commit to a bottle. When you watch one, keep an eye on a few things:

  • The setup. A juice can taste very different in a sub-ohm tank, an RDA or a pod, and at different wattages, so note what the reviewer is using.
  • Inhale versus exhale. Reviewers often describe which flavor leads and which one finishes. That tells you more than the name on the label.
  • Sweetness. Very sweet juices are a treat, but they can gunk up coils faster. Our guide on when to change your coils explains the signs.
  • The reviewer’s own taste. If a reviewer’s favorites line up with yours, their picks are more likely to suit you.
