April 2 is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, and we celebrated the classic sandwich the best way we know: with some of our absolute favorite peanut butter and jelly vapes. And yes, they tasted amazing.

Here is the lineup we shared, plus what makes the flavor work and where to find something similar today.

The PB&J lineup

These were our picks, listed by flavor and brand as they appeared in our shop at the time:

• Peanut Butter Jesus by Charlie’s Chalk Dust
• Dirty Strawberry by Broken Bottle Vape Co.
• Busted Limo by Transit Vape

None of these brands is sold on our site today, and the bottles may no longer be made, so treat the list as a record of our favorites at the time.

What makes a good PB&J vape

• A nutty base. Roasted peanut butter gives the flavor its body.
• Bright jelly. Strawberry, grape or raspberry cuts through the richness.
• A little bread. Some blends add a toasted, bakery note for the full sandwich effect.
• Room to breathe. Rich, sweet flavors can wear on your palate over a full day, so keep a lighter flavor on hand to switch things up.

Nutty flavors are a smaller category than fruit or dessert, and the balance between nut and fruit changes a lot from one maker to the next, so it pays to try a few before you settle on a favorite.

Bottles worth trying

Our dessert collection includes nutty and bakery flavors. Here are peanut butter picks from our shop:
