Best Watermelon Vape Juice 2016
Happiness is a fresh slice of cold watermelon. Citrullus lanatus, the common watermelon, is the fruit champion of the barbecue spread, and it makes a delicious summertime vape too.
Back in 2016, we rounded up the best watermelon vape juices of the summer. Watermelon also came out on top that year when our Facebook group voted on its favorite summer fruit flavor. Here is the list, kept as a record, plus what to look for in a watermelon vape today.
The 2016 watermelon list
These ten bottles made the cut, listed by flavor and brand as they appeared in our shop at the time:
- Walrus by Must Vape
- Orgasm by OneUp Vapor
- Goteem by Cloud Stout
- Rebound by Tug Sauce
- Bear by Preferred Stock
- Cali Girls by Cali Steam
- Formula One by Victory Liquid
- Kryptonite by Cosmic Fog
- Manic Meltdown by Mad Mike’s
- Cyborg Plasma by Cyber Liquids
None of these brands is sold on our site today, and some of the bottles may no longer be made, so use the list as a flavor guide rather than a shopping list. Walrus also made our best strawberry e-juice of 2016 list.
What makes a good watermelon vape
- Fresh, not candy. The best ones taste like ripe, juicy melon rather than a hard candy, unless candy is what you are after.
- A partner fruit. Watermelon plays well with strawberry, kiwi, honeydew and lime.
- A cool finish. A touch of ice suits watermelon on a hot day.
- A light hand with sweetener. Heavy sweetening can mute the fruit and gunk up coils faster, so check your coil more often with very sweet juices.

Where things stand now
Watermelon remains a staple fruit flavor, and you will find it in bottled vape juice, nic salts and disposables. Flavor rules vary by state and city and change often, so check the rules where you live. In the Zamplebox Club, rate watermelon high in your flavor profile and your monthly boxes will lean that way.
