We were back for another round of gross vape juice. Over the years we tried all kinds of bizarre, strange and downright nasty e-liquid flavors on camera, and in 2018 we dragged Max back for the special 10th episode of Gross E-Liquid.
How did this happen? How is this our life? Here’s a look back at the series and why it existed at all.
Ten episodes of regret
By the 10th episode, we were running out of strange flavors to try. Do you know how hard it is to find ten episodes’ worth of truly disgusting vape juice? Every new round meant digging a little deeper into the weird end of the market.
The idea behind the series was simple: we try the gross stuff so you don’t have to. If you want to relive earlier rounds, start with we vaped gross e-liquids so you don’t have to, then brace yourself for jalapeño, dill pickle and tomato soup and sriracha, pickle, crab and other weird vapes.
Why weird flavors exist
Strange flavors pop up for all kinds of reasons, from inside jokes to experiments that didn’t quite work out. A weird flavor can be fun to try once with friends, but it rarely becomes anyone’s all-day vape. For everyday vaping, though, our shelves are mostly stocked with the classics: fruit, dessert, menthol and tobacco.
